The client owns an insurance company in Florida, US. They approached 92Devs for an existing website update and expansion. The client's existing website was designed using WordPress with Elementor. After the initial requirements meeting, the client provided a detailed project brief which included adding additional pages, content, and a product section for two new locations-agencies. The client also wanted to duplicate all content from the homepage into two sub-agent pages for two additional locationsagencies. Additionally, the client needed to incorporate a multi-language plugin to translate content from US Eng to Spanish.
Initially, our challenge was to achieve the project goals while preserving the website's functionality and user experience. However, the client later became uncertain about their initial requirements, causing the development team to make several changes. Unfortunately, the client's web hosting service was below standard, which made it really difficult to make work on the website
Furthermore, the client requested customizations that were not supported by Elementor, which required the skills of our WordPress backend expert to integrate custom code into the backend. This was essential to ensure that the customizations could be reflected on the frontend interface.
We first conducted a comprehensive analysis of the website to identify the areas that needed to be updated and expanded. They then used Elementor and Visual Composer Builder, the current web design tools used by the client, to create additional pages with unique content for two new locations-agencies.
Next, the team added a product section to the homepage that mirrored the product sections from another website. The team populated the product section with content for Commercial-Personal and Life products only, excluding an Espanol page. They then duplicated all content from the homepage and created two sub-agent pages for two new locations-agencies.
Additionally, there was a catch: the client requested specific customizations that were not supported by Elementor. And we had to call in our WordPress backend expert to skillfully integrate custom code into the backend. This was necessary to ensure that all the customizations could be reflected on the frontend interface.
The life content was provided to the team in a word file, which they incorporated into the website. The team also installed and configured a multi-language plugin to translate content from US Eng to Spanish.
To ensure that the website's functionality and user experience were not affected, the team conducted extensive testing. They verified that all pages, content, and translations were displayed correctly and that the multi-language plugin was working as expected.
